An 11-year-old child paused time at a congested airport, surprising everyone. He slid onto a public piano bench and played Ludovico Einaudi’s Nuvole Bianche, thrilling the airport without saying a word. The cacophony of rolling bags and loudspeaker calls vanished instantly. Travelers paused mid-step, conversations ceased, and the terminal became a quiet symphony hall…

I don’t think anyone anticipated that. He’s amazing!

Yesterday, when travelers paused at Manchester Airport for a quick coffee before their flights, they had no idea that they would be serenaded by a real child prodigy, but that is exactly what happened. After finding a grand piano outside Broderick’s Coffee Shop in Terminal 2, 11-year-old Harrison couldn’t help but plop down on the stool and start playing.

They paid little attention to the young youngster as they watched him settle in at the piano. Until he started playing, that is. Everyone turned to watch Harrison as his tiny fingertips touched the keyboard.

Watch Harrison’s unexpected piano performance in the airport in its entirety below. He is eleven years old.
